Mykita has developed a new collection of sunglasses using the panto-style of the 1930s. These round glasses were a symbol of intellectuals in the 1920s and '30s. They came back in the 1960s and '80s, and they have come back again today. Additionally, Mykita is presenting a new model developed in cooperation with Alexandre Herchcovitch at the current São Paulo Fashion Week. In a new marketing campaign, Mykita has developed a look book in collaboration with the photographer Mark Borthwick. It will be distributed to optical and fashion stores worldwide. Together with the look book, Mykita has developed a movie has been created. The short and long versions of the film can soon be viewed on the company's website, during trade fairs and maybe also as an advertisement in cinema theaters. Mykita reached total sales of €16 million in 2011, compared with €14 million in the previous year. The company recently started selling its collections in Argentina.
