Mykita has partnered with Maison Martin Margiela, the fashion house bought by Renzo Rosso in 2002, for two new collections of eyewear, “Essential” and “Dual.” They were presented for the first time last month at selected Maison Martin Margiela boutiques and Mykita stores worldwide, followed by a broader release at selected opticians and multi-brand stores in mid-April. Historic forms have been reinterpreted, deconstructed and re-launched with a new design. Martin Margiela develops haute couture and ready-to-wear collections as well as leathergoods, footwear, accessories, fragrances, interior design and furniture under the name of a Belgian designer by the same name.  Mykita has already collaborated with other designers including Bernard Willhelm, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Romain Kremer and Damir Doma.
