Mykita is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. A special campaign is planned to be launched in Germany in the middle of this year, together with an anniversary book to be presented during Silmo in Paris. Mykita is currently distributing its products in 63 countries worldwide, employing 300 people on an international basis. North America, where Mykita has its own subsidiary near New York with 14 employees including sales representatives, is one of the biggest markets for the company. The subsidiary covers sales in the U.S. and Canada. Also in the framework of its 10th anniversary, Mykita plans to open its first flagship store in the U.S. in May this year. The store will be based in SoHo in New York. Another store is planned in London, also to be opened before the end of this year. In 2012, Mykita hired 50 new employees.
