Narcisio Giraldo has been appointed as chief executive officer of Visibilia, the eyewear branch of a major Italian group owned by the Mevorach family from the Veneto region. Giraldo replaces Federico Vitaletti who ran the firm as it grew in the space of a few years from 4 to 70 billion lire (e36m-$34m) in annual turnover. Visibilia, which has sales subsidiaries in 6 differen countries, has acquired important brands such as Laura Biagiotti, Trussardi, Bluemarine and Iceberg. The most recent licensing deal is with Stefanel.
