Ocuco is recruiting six engineers to boost the professional services team that delivers training and consultancy to the optical retailers with whom it works in the U.S., the U.K. and Ireland. The Irish-based company, which claims to be the largest provider of software solutions to the optical sector, already employs 170 engineers. It recently conducted a customer satisfaction survey among users of its new Focus 2 upgrade, which showed that 82 percent were satisfied with the product and 98 percent were satisfied with the level of customer support. The re-introduction of a Microsoft Word interface and other improvement are expected to boost the score.
