Odmafair, the biennial Australian eyewear exhibition, got a total of 5,957 visitors at its session in Sydney last July 11-13, up from 5,131 two years ago but below a record of 6,158 visitors registered in 1995. As compared to two years ago, the number of dispensers and optometrists remained stable, while the number of retailers rose by almost 7 percent. New Zealand represented the bulk of the foreign visitors, who accounted for 4 percent of the total.
