On April 8, Thélios, the joint venture between LVMH and Marcolin, launched the first eyewear collection for a fifth LVMH brand, Berluti. Thélios has already developed and produced eyewear for four other brands of the group: Céline, Loewe, Fred and Kenzo. The Berluti collection is composed of six men's sunglasses made in acetate and metal that will retail at €350 to €440 each. Bought by LVMH in 1993, Berluti started more than 120 years ago as a shoemaker, specializing in high-end men's footwear, and diversified into leathergoods in 2005 and menswear in 2012. It has a worldwide network of 50 mono-brand stores.
