Opti '11, the eyewear show opening in Munich tomorrow and running through Jan. 30, will have about 450 exhibitors, compared with 434 a year ago. More than 160 companies are coming this time from 25 countries outside Germany. Turkey, France and Italy are among the nations that will have their own pavilions. New foreign exhibitors include Cutler & Gross of the U.K., Wiley X of the U.S., Entourage of 7 from the Netherlands, and Hiero House of Japan.

Seven of the exhibitors setting up in the Turkish pavilion are showing their wares outside Turkey for the first time ever at Opti '11. François Pinton and Vuillet Vega are among the French companies, and Italy will be represented by Nico, Pramaor and Mu.&Do, along with regular exhibitors such as De Rigo and Look Occhiali.
