Optic 2000 has re-elected Didier Papaz as chairman of the French voluntary group for the third time. Papaz, who owns six Optic 2000 stores and one trading under the Lissac banner, has been running the group since 2006. On June 25, he joined more than 45 other opticians, partners and collaborators in a mountain bike race to the summit of the Ventoux, a mountain in the South of France. With a total of 275 participants, the race allowed them to raise more than €10,000 for the Téléthon.
