Orgreen, the eyewear producer from Denmark, launched its first acetate collection at the Silmo show in Paris last month. The material is sourced from Italy, and the frames are made in Italy by a local production partner. The various styles are named after members of the Orgreen team. The Danish eyewear brand first gained recognition for its titanium frames. At Silmo 2017, it launched the Quantum collection, which combines polyamide frames with titanium temples. At this year's Silmo, the brand presented the third Quantum collection of corrective frames and, for the first time, Quantum sunglasses. Despite the collection's very recent launch, Quantum already accounts for 10 percent of the company's total sales volume. Orgreen also introduced four new styles for its Orgreen by Yuniku line, a collaboration with Hoya Vision Care that was announced last year at the Silmo trade show in Paris. Orgreen began the Orgeen by Yuniku line of 3D-printed eyewear with 12 models in six colors. Now, four new styles are being added to the line and four existing styles are being discontinued.
