Privé Revaux has announced that it will expand beyond traditional sunglasses to include prescription eyewear. To complement the new offering, the brand will also offer online tests on its website, while extending its selection of frames to offer a full collection. Privé Revaux was launched in June 2017 by David Schottenstein along with a group of celebrities including Jamie Foxx, Hailee Steinfeld and Ashley Benson, among others. The brand's products debuted via e-commerce and direct-to-consumer with affordable eyewear retailing for $29.95 per pair. Privé Revaux will now offer its frames with prescription lenses starting at $59.99, while online vision tests will be available through its partnership with Opternative on for $25. Additionally, Privé Revaux is launching The Philosopher Collection, a complete line of optical frames with names such as The Plato, The Socrates or The Confucius, paying homage to some of the greatest philosophers in human history. Each style is made with extremely lightweight, flexible and durable Ultem frames as well as scratch-resistant and anti-blue light treated lenses, the company said.
