Alain Afflelou, the optical and hearing-aids retail group has been voted the best French customer service in France in the optical retail category for the fifth consecutive year. Taking place since 2007 and organized by the research companies Viséo Consumer Insights and BVA, the annual survey tests customer services in companies in 45 different sectors through 160 contacts by phone, e-mail and on the companies’ websites and social networks. Affelou’s performance was graded 18.9 on a 20-point scale while the average grade for all participants and for the optical retail category were 16.2 and 15.4 respectively. The company’s customer service has a permanent staff of six people, who were all teleworking when the survey took place.
