Bollé Brands has announced the launch of a new Volt+ sunglass line which incorporates a new lens technology designed to improve the perception of colors by the wearer. Based on the analysis of over 20 million lens formula combinations by artificial intelligence tools, the new lens is said to provide a 30 percent superior color enhancement while maintaining white balance. It will be available in four lens variations: Ultraviolet Polarized, Cold White Polarized, Gun Polarized and Polarized Offshore Blue. The launch will be supported by a global digital advertising campaign called “Rediscover Earth”. Bollé has partnered with M7 Innovations and QReal, two companies specializing in artificial intelligence and augmented reality, in order to propose virtual try-ons of the new Volt+ lens for 15 eyewear styles via Instagram. The Volt + lens is currently being used by the B&B Hotels p/b KTM professional cycling team on the Tour de France race.
