On March 8, the fashion blogger and designer Chiara Ferragni will be releasing her first eyewear capsule, two sunglass models produced by Luxottica, through Sunglass Hut and, in Italy, Salmoiraghi & Viganò. Both of these chains are controlled by Luxottica. Ferragni has advised Sunglass Hut on style in the past. Her own eponymous retail brand – with stores in Milan, Paris, Cortina, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Hangzhou – will also be carrying the sunglasses, as will her website, chiaraferragnicollection.com. The Cool Eye model comes in four colors and the Bold Eye model in three. Both have black lenses and will retail for $139 apiece. Ferragni has been president and CEO of TBS – the company behind her blog, The Blonde Salad – since 2017 and is also CEO and creative director of Serendipity, the company behind her eponymous brand.
