The Australian fashion models Jordan and Zac Stenmark – along with the chemist Stafford Sheehan, who is also the founder of Air Company, maker of Air Vodka – have developed a line of glasses to improve sleep: that is, when you are not wearing them. The brand is called Dreamers and the glasses Sleep. The glasses contain DreamTech Screen lenses that purportedly block 99.9 percent of blue-green light. According to the brand, “artificial blue-green light is scientifically known to disrupt melatonin production,” and melatonin, released chiefly at night by the pineal gland, is the hormone believed to control our sleep cycles. The lines breaks down into three collections – Lucid Sleep, Sleep & Screen and Vivid Screen – differentiated by frame style. All frames are available at at $135 apiece.
