Oprah Winfrey’s recent televised interview with the Duchess and Duke of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, has generated more than just gossip. Götti has been flooded with orders for the frames worn during the interview by Oprah. Founded in 1993 by Sven Götti in the city of Wadenswil, the Swiss brand produces about 1,000 frames per month. According to AFP, which quotes a spokesman for the brand, they cost 400 to 500 Swiss francs (€360-$430 to €450-$538) apiece on average. Oprah’s particular frames, however, are custom, one of two pairs designed for her by the founder. She now owns about 20 pairs of Götti frames.
