Kering Eyewear is launching its Blue & Beyond project, which consists of integrating of blue-light filtering and photochromic lenses in a selection of its eyewear frames. The Blue & Beyond solution will be applied to some women and men styles in the Gucci and Saint Laurent collections, and to some Montblanc’s men frames. The photochromic effects will come in different color variations, from pink to burgundy for Gucci’s feminine styles, from transparent ochre to brown for the Italian brand male styles, from transparent grey to dark grey in the Saint Laurent’s collection and from transparent blue to deep blue for Montblanc’s frames. The company said that the Blue & Beyond project was a step forward in its ongoing commitment to offer a perfect mix of style and functionality.
