Marcolin and the Italian fashion brand Max Mara jointly announced this week the official launch of their first eyewear collection, following the signature last year of a 5-year global license partnership for sunglasses and optical frames. The brand was previously part of Safilo’s portfolio. A preview of the new collections by Marcolin had already been presented at Max Mara’s fashion show in Milan last September. The eyewear collection will be on sale from April 2021 at Max Mara stores and on the website, at department stores, selected opticians and e-commerce platforms to be announced later. The launch will be accompanied by a marketing campaign with a strong digital focus. It will include creative collaborations with a casting of international celebrities, so far undisclosed, each of them starring in a personal storytelling video.
