Les Échos, the French business newspaper, reports that Novacel expects to sell 200,000 pieces of its new progressive lens in 2021. Launched in January and called Eden Zeta, the new lens is said to minimize visual aberrations and reduce visual fatigue. It incorporates Opalis Graphene, a new antireflection treatment by the French-based laboratory. Novacel is launching Eden Zeta in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany, but estimates that 80 percent of volumes sold will be in its domestic market. The company reportedly sold 8 million lenses worth €130 million in revenues last year.
