During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Swiss Eyewear Group (SEG) has been manufacturing and delivering protective eyewear to hospitals, first responders, government organizations, public transport and charities to shield them from coronavirus infection. As businesses reopen, the group is shifting the supply of protective eyewear to the general public. The items will range from models that provide full protection to models that fit over prescription eyewear and appeal in style to the youth market. SEG is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and owns the Invu brand. It estimates that, thanks to “an affordable” recommended price, opticians can contribute to public safety and increase their client base by offering ”very timely and useful products.”
