Italia Independent opened a new showroom in Milan, in via Fiori Chiari, in the heart of the bohemian Brera district. The location is also the company’s sole flagship worldwide after the company underwent a restructuring that led to the closure of all stores managed directly or franchised. It also replaces the showroom that was situated in via Montenapoleone. The previous showroom had been opened in 2013 and was closed this year, prior to the health crisis generated by the Covid-19 outbreak.
The new premises have a floor space of 90 square meters and a ceiling with the colors - green, white and red - of the Italian flag. The showroom offers clients a wall of lenses to choose from and to add to their frames. The store also stocks the company’s house brands and licenses, such as CR7 Eyewear and Hublot Eyewear.
Italia Independent also renewed until Dec. 31, 2024 its license agreement with the Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot, which is part of the LVMH group. The next Hublot collection will be presented in February 2021.
