The Italian optical retailer Milleocchiali has bought five of the six stores of its rival Optistar. Three of the stores are located in Rome, one is in the nearby town of Tivoli and one in Isernia.
Optistar, founded in 1969, will continue operating a store in Rome.
From March 1, the other stores will be rebranded and operated under the Milleocchiali banner. They will also start offering the company’s house brand Dolceroma.
Milleocchiali, which is owned by the Folletto family, currently has 15 directly-operated stores and four franchisees. It is mainly present in the Italian regions of Lazio, Campania and Tuscany.
