Mister Spex has gradually reopened its physical stores under strict hygiene requirements. Initially, 13 of the existing 22 stores have been opened with limited opening hours. From April 29, the German omni-channel retailer opened the remaining stores and expanded the opening hours. The focus remains on previously set up appointments with customers. New store openings in Berlin and Munich, which were suspended in April, are planned for the first week of May. In order to protect its customers and employees, Mister Spex decided to switch its 22 stores across Germany to emergency care due to the current coronavirus crisis on March 23. All Mister Spex online services continued to be fully available to customers. Mister Spex also launched the first individual online eyesight test during that time.
