Rodenstock is launching a campaign for greater brand recognition at the point of sale (POS) featuring a display window competition. The Munich-based eyewear company is offering to opticians around the world standardized advertising materials to develop a clearly structured and consistent POS marketing strategy and facilitate brand recognition. A competition with attractive prizes will reward the opticians that produce the most appealing displays using the marketing packages provided by Rodenstock. According to the company, the response so far has been positive, with more than 9,000 sets already ordered in 48 countries. The campaign covers all the company's own and licensed brands including Porsche Design, Dunhill, Baldessarini and Mercedes-Benz. The nicest decorations will initially compete nationally, and at the end of 2013, the individual country winners will then compete on an international level.
