Rodenstock re-launched its Mercedes Benz eyewear collection, for which it has held the worldwide license since 2009, at the Opti 2014 show in Munich. The new collection, which is completely made without screws, includes 12 prescription frames and eight sunglasses, each available in four different colors from March this year. The German eyewear manufacturer also re-launches its “Rocco by Rodenstock” collection of vintage prescription frames and sunglasses, of which it sold over four million units between 1960 and 1990. It is available at selected opticians in Germany and abroad from this month. A new model of Rodenstock's Porsche Design Iconic series, called “Sidewall” and limited to 250 pieces, was also presented during Opti in Munich for selective distribution.
