Rudy Project’s Zyon Hi-Altitude sunglasses and goggles were put through a rough test in extreme weather conditions on a recent 700-mile expedition to the South Pole. The lenses are designed to protect against strong brightness and transmit only 6 percent of light during high mountain or glacier activities. The Vision South Pole expedition traveled across Antarctica in order to gather information on the effects of summer polar light on optic vision and the team had elected to wear these models. Researchers and optometrists who participated in the voyage expressed satisfaction with the lenses.
