Silhouette has won damages of $303,554.30 in a court in Albany, New York against Marina's Boutique Store, which had been accused of using the Austrian company's trademarks in offering its products on the internet. The US retailer had falsely claimed that certain products sold on eBay's website had been manufactured by Silhouette. A district court in Manhattan had already issued a preliminary injunction in the case last May 17. Silhouette points out that it continues to work with eBay's "Verified Rights Owner" program.
