Small German start-ups are going to get for the first time a subsidy of up to €7,5000 from the German government to show at the Opti '12 show running next Jan. 13-15 in Munich. Among the conditions for this grant, they will have to be based in Germany, they will have to be less than 10 years old and they must have an annual turnover of less than €10 million. This is being made possible by the Federal Ministry of the Economy and Technology to take the fair under its wing for the establishment of a collective stand for young and innovative enterprises.
