Sunglass Hut has signed an exclusive partnership with Bass Pro Outdoor World, a big American outdoor retailer, to open shop-in-shops in its Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's stores and e-commerce platforms. The agreement covers 160 stores in the U.S., which will be refitted between now and the end of September. It is expected to generate annual sales of about $100 million for this subsidiary of Luxottica. At the end of 2017, Sunglass Hut had a total of 3,213 stores around the world, including 3,059 directly managed units and 154 franchises. Of those, about 1,700 were operating in North America.
