The 100% Optical fair, which was held in London for the second time on Feb. 7-9 with a 25 percent increase in visitors to more than 6,000, has won the battle of the eyewear fairs in the British capital. The organizers of Optrafair, which was held in London for the first time in April 2014, have changed their minds about staging it in London and Birmingham in alternate years. After an apparently good show in Birmingham last month, they have decided to hold it again at the same location next year, on April 9-11. One of the reasons is the greater availability of space at the less expensive NEC exhibition center in Birmingham, where Optrafair was previously held every other year.
