The 26th edition of the Hong Kong Optical Fair, which will run on Nov. 7-9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, is set to welcome around 800 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, a record number. The event is organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The upcoming edition of the show will feature a new zone dedicated to “IT Solutions & Shop Fittings,” showcasing the latest technologies, including a system that allows customers to design and create personalized frames using 3D printing. The fair will propose various industry events among which the 16th Hong Kong Optometric Conference, which will welcome experts from the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. This year's conference will be focused on the “Contemporary Role of Optometrists in Primary Care.” Last year, the Hong Kong Optical Fair attracted more than 16,000 buyers from 106 regions.
