The Association of Practice Management Educators in the U.S. will come up with learning modules to be used by all 17 of the country's optometry colleges to teach about anti-reflective technologies. APME is receiving an education grant from the Vision Council for the modules. The new curriculum will be taught to second- or third-year students. The Vision Council noted that anti-reflective usage is only about 34 percent in the U.S., compared with more than 70 percent in Europe and 98 percent in Japan.
