The French L'Amy group has taken over the global license outside Japan for the strong Kenzo license from Airess, which has been reorganizing its portfolio of licensed brands (more on this in the next issue). The first Kenzo collection will be presented at the SILMO show starting in Paris next Oct. 17 and it will be distributed by arcol.216, a company acquired last month along with the license. Earlier this year, L'Amy took over and assigned to another 100 percent owned distribution company, Régé & Asssociés, the distribution of Nikon frames and other designer lines previously developed and sold by Berthet-Bondé, including Karl Lagerfeld, Rochas and Sonia Rykiel.
