The Italian manufacturer Polinelli, which is based about 40 kilometers north of Milan and produces sunglasses, sports eyewear and prescription frames, has opened a new outlet at its headquarters in Daverio. The outlet is about three times the size of the old one and covers 200 square meters. It includes two rooms for eye tests and displays about 2,400 frames, produced by the company and other manufacturers. Named after the Italian entrepreneur who recently sold LEM to Spy Optic and its parent company, Orange 21, Polinelli booked sales of about €10 million in its last financial year, which ended on Sept. 30. Its house brands are Best, Viva, Riccardo Polinelli, Blast and Sunteam. The company also has the license for the Naj-Oleari brand.
