The latest edition of Silmo Istanbul, which ran from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, welcomed a total of 9,246 visitors, 6.6 percent more than a year ago. The number of visitors from outside Turkey went up by 24.5 percent to 1,276, indicating that the trade show is becoming more relevant for the wider Middle East area. The surface of the show was expanded by 1,500 square meters to host a total of 120 national and foreign exhibitors presenting nearly 600 brands. The next edition of the show is scheduled to run from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, 2018.
