The Michael Pachleitner Group (MPG) has extended its Red Bull Racing Eyewear license, whose contract was running out in June 2016. The new contract runs for 10 years. MPG has launched a new brand of prescription frames, called Spect, that combines urban styles with sports functionality, and it is cooperating with Red Bull for a collection of functional sunglasses and goggles, the so-called Red Bull Spect eyewear line. Both lines were presented for the first time at the Silmo show in Paris. The Red Bull Spect line starts with a price range of €80-90 for end consumers. The Spect eyewear line includes 12 different styles, available in four colors.
