The Michael Pachleitner Group (MPG) is labelling all its freeform lenses with a micro-engraving from this month. MPG owns two lens manufacturing firms, Schulz in Germany and Optic Technologies in Austria. As it aims to present itself as a manufacturer of both frames and lenses, the Austrian firm is launching a special campaign for opticians, offering lenses from Schulz and frames from Uniopt, the eyewear design and distribution company owned by MPG, at very attractive prices. The package is available from €19 at the retail level. If ordered before noon, the package will be delivered to the optician on the next day.
