The rimless and transparent Shield of Adidas Eyewear, the only product to have received an award in the ?Best Sports Eyewear Category ? of the 2002 International Optical Fair held in Tokyo last Oct. 24-26, is helping Silhouette to open up the lifestyle market in Japan, where its Adidas Eyewear line enjoyed a 70 percent sales increase this year. Worldwide, the licensed line achieved a growth of 29 percent, and the outlook for 2002 is very positive.
