The Robert La Roche brand has been owned since December 2013 by Michael Pachleitner and Anthony Reid, previously owner of the distribution company Seequal, selling the Dita Eyewear, OG and Salt eyewear brands in the U.K. The brand was re-launched at Silmo in September with an eyewear collection of 12 styles made in Japan. The first collection designed and developed under the new management, made from acetate in Italy and featuring 15 styles, had been launched at Opti 2014. Sales representatives in Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany were engaged to sell the brand to selected optical stores from spring 2014. In the Netherlands, a new sales rep will start to sell Robert La Roche's collections from January 2015. In the U.S., sales will also start in January through a recently engaged sales representative. The plan is to open an office and warehouse in the U.S. by January 2016.
