The Salmoiraghi & Viganò group has acquired five stores from the Mister Optik chain, which has 28 stores in Italy. The change of ownership will allow Mister Optik to concentrate on the regions of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, where it plans to open new outlets. The five stores are in the cities of Treviso, Padua, Milan, Pescara and Piacenza. They generate total sales of €1.5 million. They will help Salmoiraghi strengthen its low-cost VistaSi chain, taking it from 127 to 132 stores, divided between traditional opticians and corners in hypermarkets. VistaSi will have its first outlet in Milan. As a group, it will have a total of 460 stores that break down into 304 Salmoiraghi & Viganò, 24 Spacciocchiali and 132 VistaSi doors.
