The Silmo show, scheduled for Sept. 27-30 at Paris Nord Villepinte, will feature the first Silmo Hackathon, in which five international, multidisciplinary teams of five people will spend 24 hours imagining “tomorrow's retail world.” The Hackathon is open to professionals in optics, distribution, merchandising, design, social sciences, marketing and production, regardless of whether they operate in the eyewear industry. Silmo will also be launching the Silmo M@tch app, which will help the show's visitors to schedule meetings, view new products, perform searches and network.
