The stores affiliated with the Optic 2000 buying and franchising group in France have recorded an average increase of 3.96 percent in their sales since the beginning of this year, indicating a gain in market share. The company's own Lissac chain, whose management recently changed, saw a 6.56 percent sales increase over the same period, with the flagship store in Paris marking a record 13.08 percent increase during the month of July. Aside from other operations, the group counted 1,165 Optic 2000 stores in France and 46 in Switzerland, as well as 143 Lissac stores.
