The Thai floods will cost Hoya ¥22 billion in lost equipment and sales

Commenting on the results for its third financial quarter, ended last Dec. 31, Hoya's management admitted that it would probably take 12 to 18 months for its vision care operations to return to normal, with customers willing to come back.
