Thierry Perrin has become the new president and chief executive of Alain Mikli International, following the French company's acquisition by Luxottica earlier this year. He takes the place of Antonio Bortuzzo who has moved to the U.S. to run Viva International. Perrin had joined Mikli last June to act as deputy general manager under Bortuzzo. He worked previously in the eyewear sector for Marcolin, running its former Cébé division between 2007 and 2008. Prior to that, he spent five years running a joint venture of Schneider Electric in China.
