Think About Your Eyes has announced the addition of two new partners, Compliancy Group and VFO Group (Optelec), as well as the hiring of Ron Sallerson as full-time director of development. Sallerson joined the team of the U.S.-based public awareness campaign in August. In his new role, he will focus on expanding industry support for the campaign while searching other sources of support among non-vision health-related organizations. Sallerson has a long-standing experience in fundraising with various non-profit organizations including the National Kidney Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Coalition. Think About Your Eyes is made possible by the support of 21 organizations, now 23 with the addition of the two new partners, and more than 18,000 eyecare professionals listed on the campaign's doctor locator.
