Thomas Sabo, the German watch and jewelry brand, is entering the eyewear market. The company has announced the launch of its first-ever eyewear collection, for men and women, for spring/summer 2019. The debut collection comprises 16 models of sunglasses, in 48 colorways, an additional 12 models with polarized lenses, and four eyewear chains. The company was founded in 1984 by Thomas Sabo in Lauf an der Pegnitz, southern Germany. Today, it operates around 300 of its own shops on all five continents. It also collaborates with about 2,800 trade partners globally as well as with airlines and cruise operators.
