Thomas Truckenbrod has been elected the new president of ZVA, the powerful German association of opticians, replacing Thomas Nosch, who is leaving for personal reasons after 10 years at its helm. Truckenbrod was ZVA's vice president, and his place is being taken by Christian Müller.
