Tom Davies, the high-end British eyewear brand, is relocating part of its production to a brand-new factory in London. According to an article in The Financial Times, the company invested £600,000 (€680,000-$800,000) in the new facility, which is set to manufacture 30 percent of Tom Davies' production in the short term and up to 70 percent in three years. The company's headquarters are being transferred to the new location with 30 employees, and 20 more are scheduled to join at a later stage. Tom Davies already has its own factory in Shenzhen, China. It will keep it running without expanding it, according to the British newspaper. A launch party will be held at the new plant on Oct. 27, in partnership with Zeiss.
