In a partnership with Balluun, a global supplier in business-to-business technologies, the Vision Council and RX, the new brand name for Reed Exhibitions, launched their ShopVISION platform during the Vision Expo East trade show in early June. Described as a year-round marketplace where vendors and buyers of optical products can connect and trade, ShopVISION also hosts Vision Expo+, a digital extension of the Vision Expo show. There are currently 240 brands and 2,500 products available on the website, including frames, lens processing or medical equipment for example, as well as 1,200 active buyers, according to organizers.
