Transitions Optical has made several management changes in its global group to strengthen the brand outside the USA. Bette Zaret has been promoted to senior vice president for global marketing, where she will spearhead all international marketing strategies, including leading brand communication and creating public service initiatives. She was previously Transitions' vice president for global strategic marketing.

Cliona Curran is the new director of global business insights. As such, she will work to gather information on businesses and the market to add to a cache of intelligence for the group. Her old position was global supply chain director.

Denis Fisk steps into the new position of director of global brand marketing, where he will be in charge of all Transitions brands. He had been the director of global education and training. Stephanie Carty will help bring them all together as the manager of global employee communication. She will relay strategy information to all Transitions employees. Her previous job was communications manager at GE Security.

Previously Transitions had appointed a former executive of L'Oréal and Nestlé, Caroline Tikhomiroff, as marketing manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
